(don't sms or call me, because i stupidly left my phone in hall.)
SCHOOL!i am currently taking six modules- 3 chem, 1 math, 1 phy and 1 econs- and i surprisingly still have my mondays free, not that i intentionally planned it that way. hence my first day of school was spent doing... NOTHING. haha. since hanna was gonna be away at class and i was gonna be alone in the room, i planned to visit SH and have lunch with griddy at the same time. lunch, however, did not materialise because griddy had to rush off somewhere at the eleventh hour (grr!), so i just had to bum around the office and chat with my (nice) ex-colleagues. not that it was a really bad tradeoff. :) managed to get my hands on the swoc and rag shirt that day. so yaye! more shirts to add to my SH collection. haha.
when i got back to hall, naz was in the room and she seemed to be making herself really comfortable inside. although it was clearly the humble abode of mine and hanna's! haha just kidding. bummed around before heading for dinner at the canteen and boy was the food at the canteen expensive! sigh. hence cereal's like my closest buddy now. :(
after dinner, we pretty-ed ourselves up and headed for the joint hall bash which was to be held at the audi and the place was packed! although we reached fashionably late, the party still hasn't started so we were cursing under breaths for rushing ourselves like mad. the party started at 11pm and the audi instantly transformed into a... CLUB. (gasp) haha. i don't know, it just felt strange to be dancing my ass off in school; it just sounds wrong. Double O hosted the party and the drinks were going at $5/ glass and $18/ jug. i was almost tempted to get some, but did not! :)
so while me and dancing queen, hanna, were on the dancefloor, this random guy suddenly came up to us and gave us a jug of Screwdriver saying he didn't want it because the bartender gave him the wrong drink. i was like, "WOW today is my lucky day!" hence i polished the entire jug by myself, since hanna cannot drink for obvious reasons. guess what, the alcohol hardly even kicked in after i finished the jug. no wonder they were selling the drinks so cheaply; it was a SCAM! haha thank goodness i did not buy any.
at around 12, they started playing trance/ techno songs so we left with throngs on people behind us as well. haha. roar such a spoiler.
tuesday! still had no lessons that day because tutorials only start in week 2. :l but i got up early to do my subject registration. the damn IT centre just had to screw up at that time and so we couldn't drop the modules we got exempted from. hence i couldn't add french into my timetable. fuck one! so i watched the vacancy for french class dwindle from like 20+ to zero. urgh, so when they FINALLY fixed the problem, the only module left for me to add was what, ECONOMICS. fuck two! like hello, i did not pay to come to the university to study subjects i have already studied before. felt damn frustrated that day. :(
so the entire day was just spent on subject registration and printing lecture notes. because hanna didn't have class on wednesday and friday, she said she wanted to go home on tuesday. i really didn't want to stay in the room alone because firstly, our neighbours are damn unfriendly and secondly, i know no one else in hall. so i packed my stuff and headed home after i was done. ahh never felt like going home so badly in my entire lifetime. it felt so good, much like a puff of cigarette for a chain smoker who has been starved for days. :)
had physics lecture this morning and since the notes weren't up on the intranet yet, i had to lug my lappie back home and back to school. gosh when my left arm could finally rest, the muscle was so tense, my arm just started twitching as if it was a separate entity from the rest of my body.
anyhow, my first lecture went well. the lecturer was vietnamese and so he has a weird accent. he pronounces mass as "mars", scalar as "scar-la" and multiply as "moo-tee-ply". i swear it was really entertaining!
anyhow again,
HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!because all thanks to you, i get a break off school. :p
